When we were approached to work on a home restoration in Alexandria, VA, we sought to preserve the beauty of the existing 1920s architecture while bringing the design into today with new and contemporary features. This resulted in the creation of a gorgeous interior space of ultimate luxury for our Northern Virginia clients.
Since the home was originally built in the 1920s, many of its structural elements needed to be restored for both functional and aesthetic purposes. We installed several new interior features to bring the design up to date. This included new flooring, custom cabinetry, and other millwork that was installed all throughout the home.
It also meant the installation of a new addition in the back of the structure that gives our clients extensive space for relaxation and even storage, as well as added light.
A large walk-in closet showcases our custom cabinet work while the living room and new addition offer a good look into our other interior design specialties.
We completed four and a half bath remodels for this Alexandria home restoration. This included both spacious, primary bathrooms and those with limited space used for guests.
Key features of our bathroom remodels included:
We also made sure all plumbing fixtures were taken care of, including sinks, faucets, and toilets, so each remodel was ready for use upon project completion.
The eat-in kitchen features an expansive display of cabinetry with a wall-to-wall pantry that provides our clients with abundant storage space for any need. The room also contains a kitchen island with plenty of seating and sink space along with new wooden floors and updated countertop surfacing. A hidden butler’s pantry offers excess storage space in a classy room design nearby while a dining table is conveniently positioned for easy access to the family chef.
